MusicEducationResources.Org supports the delivery of Music Performance and Music Technology elements of the new BTEC Nationals in Music and Music Technology programmes at NQF level 2 and NQF level 3.

We offer resources and support materials for the classroom, lecture room, studio and performance space written by experienced professionals, in a truly vocational context.

Resource packs for many BTEC Music and Music Technology units are now ready to deliver, with others written to order as required. We are aware that those who purchased BTEC in a Box for BTEC Firsts in Music (from another source) were unable to access resources for certain units, and we are here to bridge that gap by writing materials for any unit specified to order for both level 2 and level 3.

A selection of Instrument and equipment reviews are free on the website - and will be regularly updated, along with ideas on how this equipment relates to specific units of the new BTEC Firsts and Nationals in Music and Music Technology.

Create your own package ; we supply 3-unit or 6-unit packs with no limitations on which units are included.

For Level 2, one 3-unit pack would cater for a First Certificate, whilst the First Diploma would require a single 6-unit pack.

At level 3, a 6-unit pack would provide a substantial amount of the resources needed to prepare for a National Award, whilst two 6-unit packs would lay the foundation for a National Certificate.

Three 6-unit packs would provide the 18 units needed for a National Diploma (to include one 'double-value' unit in one of the packs). Unit 16 in the ND Music is a double unit. Unit 10 in the ND Music Technology is also double unit.

For each unit we provide:

• A delivery plan
• Assignment briefs which address selected Grading Criteria for that unit
• Assessment activities and tasks
• Teacher guidance on assessment
• Recommended resources
